PADI Wreck Diver Course – December 2010

By popular demand, we are once again running the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course, we have scheduled the open water dives on this course for the beginning of December.

To get the most out of your brief  encounter with the wreck the PADI Wreck Diver Course, gives you all the skills and training necessary to safely enjoy diving in and around wrecks.

The course consists of a classroom session at he dive centre, followed by four wreck dives (three if you did a wreck dive as part of your PADI advanced Open Water Diver Course), where you get the practice these important skills and techniques:

    • Organisation
    • Procedures
    • Techniques
    • Problems and Hazards of Wreck Diving
  • The Preparation
    • Use of Lights
    • Air Supplies
    • Special Equipment
    • Penetration Lines and Reels Etc.
  • Practice
    • Navigation
    • Assessment
    • Penetration Potential
    • Line Laying
    • Limited Visibility Diving Techniques
    • Emergency Procedures.
