Are your CPR and First Aid Skills up to Date?

Practising Emergency First Response Primary Care Techniques

Practising Emergency First Response Primary Care Techniques

As divers we are used to regularly practising our diving skills, the EFR (Emergency First Response), CPR and First Aid skill we learn on the EFR Primary and Secondary Course are no exception.

To keep out skill and certification up to date we need to undertake a fresher course every two and half years. This is not only to remind ourselves how to handle an emergency situation, until the emergency services arrive, so your actions could actually  help to save the life of a friend, colleague, or even family member. But to learn and simulate the latest best practice guidelines, getting the chance to train using the latest equipment such as electronic defibrillators.

If your First Aid / EFR qualification has expired or is about to expire in the next couple of months we are holding an EFR (Emergency First Response) Course and an EFR Refresher Course, lasting all day on Sunday 28th November. Please contact the dive centre or John on his mobile (07957 353 040) his mobile to book your place ASAP.
